Steel pipe fittings tees are also called steel tee joints or tee joints. The main pipe adopts a three-way joint. It has three vacancies, namely one entrance and two exits; or two entrances and one exit. It is a chemical pipe fitting. It has T-shaped, Y-shaped, equal-diameter tube holes, and different-diameter tube holes. It can be used to change the flow direction of the fluid, and it can also be used in pipes, pipes, and pipes of various liquid chemical materials. Mainly used in medical, water conservancy (water-saving irrigation, water supply, and drainage), energy (oil, natural gas, nuclear industry), construction, and other engineering fields.
Steel tee classification:
1. Classified by pipe diameter
Steel tee with the same diameter: steel tee with the same diameter for the main pipe and the branch pipe
Different diameters of steel tees: the diameter of the branch pipe is smaller than that of the main pipe.
2. Classified by docking form
Butt welded steel tee: that is, a steel tee pipe fitting that is butt welded with the connecting pipe fitting.
Socket steel tee: insert the connecting pipe into the two ends of the steel tee, and weld the steel tee.
Ferrule-type steel tee: that is, each end is a ferrule joint. After inserting the joint, tighten the steel tee joint.
Threaded steel tee: steel tee fittings that are threaded.
3. Classification by material
Can be divided into stainless steel tees, carbon steel tees, copper tees, PVC tees, ductile iron tees, etc.
4. Classification by branch form
Main steel tee: It is a steel tee fitting for the vertical main pipe of the branch pipe.
Inclined steel tee: It is a steel tee fitting with a certain angle between the branch pipe and the main pipe.
