Columbia Gas to spend $1.12 million on Baden pipe project

BADEN -- Columbia Gas will soon start a $1.12 million infrastructure replacement project in Baden.The company will replace more than 5,700 feet of underground steel pipe with plastic pipe “to ensure the delivery of safe, reliable and efficient natural gas,” Columbia Gas said in a statement.The project, which will affect nearly 100 customers in Baden with temporary service interruptions, is expected to start in mid-May and last through late winter.
