Differences in oil and gas steel pipelines

Update:2022-11-29      View(s):547        Keywords :Differences in oil and gas steel pipelines
There are great differences between oil and gas steel pipelines, mainly as follows:

① The oil steel pipeline needs to consider the influence of the elevation change of the starting point and the endpoint on the liquid pressure in the steel pipeline, but the influence of the gas steel pipeline is very small.

②The gas transmission steel pipeline under high pressure is beneficial to energy saving, while the friction loss of the oil steel pipeline is little affected by the pressure.

③ When there is a booster station along the steel pipeline, the inlet pressure of the intermediate oil delivery station is generally low, as long as it meets the requirements of airtight transportation, and the compressor requires a certain ratio between the discharge pressure and the suction pressure, such as centrifugal compressors. Generally, it is 1.2~2, and the number of reciprocating compressors is 3 to 7, that is, the intermediate compressor station is required to have a higher entry pressure.

④ Gas storage at the end of the gas steel pipeline can be used as a measure to adjust the unbalanced gas consumption of users.
