Precautions for anti-corrosion of buried pipelines

Update:2020-09-29      View(s):1102        Keywords :Precautions for anti-corrosion of buried pipelines

From the overall measurement of material performance, construction, cost, and use effect, epoxy coal tar paint-glass fiber cloth coating is an ideal anti-corrosion method for buried pipelines in urban sewage treatment projects. From the perspective of technical performance, fusion bonded epoxy coating is an anti-corrosion method worth promoting. Note the following points in use:

  ①Using cathodic protection

A separate external anti-corrosion layer often has unforeseen damage during use, causing local corrosion of the pipeline. The use of cathodic protection can not only improve the anti-corrosion ability more effectively but also can monitor the corrosion and operating status of the pipeline on the ground, accurately design and Forecasting the life of pipelines is more suitable for urban sewage treatment engineering applications. When implementing cathodic protection, increase the number of sacrificial anodes in pipe sections near railways and electrical facilities.

②Use strengthened or specially strengthened anti-corrosion in soils with a strong acid, alkalinity, and high salt content, and river crossing pipe sections.

③ The pipe sections passing through roads and railways should be protected by casing pipes.

④ Fine sand should be laid in the trench before the pipeline is laid, and fine sand and soft soil should be filled first when backfilling, avoiding direct burial with stones or bricks.
