There are two manufacture technology for producing ERW steel pipe, spot welding and seam welding. Then what is seam welding? What kind of trouble we need to pay attention to during the whole production process?

Seam welding is a specific type during the production process of ERW steel pipe, which used in manufacturing of round, square and rectangular steel tube. With the process of coils and side-trimmed for various tubes, the steel strip will become in control in width and condition of the edges. After that, there are a series procedures like rollers which cold-form the material into a circular shape. Then the edges are forced together under pressure of the special technology. Finally, we will get the formed ERW steel pipe with customized size as customers' demand.
