Standards introduction for SSAW steel pipe

With different production process, we can get various types of steel pipe from seamless steel pipe, welded steel pipe like ERW steel pipe, SSAW steel pipe. Today we would like to introduce the standards introduction for SSAW steel pipe under the multifarious standards’ criterion.

Quality standard of SSAW steel pipe:

1. SY/T 5037 spiral submerged arc-welded steel pipe: pipelines of low pressure field service.

2. SY/T 5040 spiral submerged arc-welded steel pipe piles

3. CJ/T 3022 spiral submerged arc-welded steel pipe: used for municipal heal supply

4. IS: 1978 steel pipes will be used in transportation of oil, gas, and petroleum products.

5. ASTM A252 welded and seamless steel pipe piles.
