The first step is cleaning. The surface of the steel is cleaned with a cleaning agent to remove oil, grease, dust, lubricants, and similar organic substances, but it cannot remove rust, oxides, and solder on the steel surface.
The second step is to rust the tools. To use rust-proof tools, wire brushes must be used to remove scattered or deformed oxides, rust and slag. To achieve the desired effect of the rust, the hardness of the steel surface must be based on the original extent of corrosion and the required surface roughness, coating, etc. to select the type of abrasive. For two to three layers of polyethylene coating with epoxy layer, it is easier to achieve the desired effect by using mixed abrasive sand and steel blasting.
The third step is pickling, which generally uses two methods, chemical and electrolytic pickling, and only corrodes the chemical pickling pipeline. Although chemical cleaning can achieve a certain degree of surface cleanliness and roughness, it also pollutes the environment.
