Concentric reducers are made by direct butt welding the reducer to the steel pipe, hot pressing, or forging the steel. Category: Pushing, pressing, forging, casting. Corresponding to the concentric reducer is the eccentric reducer, made of carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel.
Concentric reducers generally play a connecting role. For example, the concentric reducer at the outlet of a centrifugal pump connects the pipeline to the inlet and outlet of the pump. The inlet is generally larger and smaller, and the outlet is generally smaller and larger.
Concentric reducers mainly have the following characteristics:
1. When the fluid flow rate in the pipeline changes, such as increasing or decreasing, and the flow rate requirement does not change much, a reducing pipe must be used.
2. Enter the inlet of the pump to prevent cavitation.
3. At the joints with instruments, such as flow meters and regulating valves, reducers are also required to cooperate with the joints of the instruments.
