Thick-walled seamless steel pipe for oil drilling

We need petroleum for driving our cars, planes and generators. How could we get the

crude oil from deep sea? Lots of engineers would choose thick-walled seamless steel pipe. Why?

Why is it thick-walled?

Actually, strong would be the necessary characters for thick-walled seamless steel pipe, even thought its strength is not good as steel pipe column. What’s more, its small vibration would benefit the whole drilling work. As it can do a good job on transmission of impact force, making the bit stable, suitable for oil drilling.

Why seamless steel pipe?

Compared with welded steel pipe, there is no any gap for seamless steel pipe which is the big factor which determine their work range to some extent.
