Which kind of grade you need for seamless steel pipe?

Different conditions, like rolled, normalized, and welded, would produce different types and grades for the seamless steel pipe. We need to know which kind of grade we need before we purchase from pipe's supplier.

One of my clients asked me on my vacation that he wants me to introduce the different types of the seamless steel pipe and he told me his condition as oil transportation. So according to his situation, I would like to talk the difference for the different conditions with various grades for the seamless steel pipe.

With different production process, like rolled, normalized and quenched, we can get the grades X42R, X42N,and X70Q. Due to various types of production process, multifarious tensile, hardness and fracture toughness for seamless steel pipes are here for customers. Under this situation, clients need to know which type of pipe they need. How to analyze this? First, what do we do with this pipe? Oil and gas transportation? Water transportation? Then, we can decide the type of pipes according to practical and cost for the pipes. For example, oil and gas transportation would have high demand for the pipes so that seamless steel pipe would be necessary for pressure holding.
