Analysis of Corrosion Causes of Steel Pipes
Update:2022-03-28 View(s):789 Keywords :Analysis of Corrosion Causes of Steel Pipes
Corrosion of
steel pipes is mainly divided into two categories: internal corrosion and external corrosion.
External corrosion is mainly due to the corrosion caused by the connection between the pipeline material and the external environment such as soil, seawater, atmosphere, and other corrosive media. At the same time, because some pipelines have an external insulation layer, moisture may be caused by other factors under the insulation layer. Agglomeration (sometimes heating of external moisture due to the high temperature of the medium in the pipe) creates a highly corrosive corrosion area, causing under-insulation corrosion to the pipeline.
Internal corrosion, the type of internal corrosion that occurs is different according to the properties of the fluid in the pipeline. Including acid corrosion, corrosion caused by chloride ions, microbial corrosion, stress corrosion, welding corrosion, and so on.
