To talk about the centralized classification of galvanized square tubes, we first look at the production process, which can be divided into hot-dip galvanized square tubes and cold-galvanized square tubes. It is precisely because of the difference in the addition of these two galvanized square tubes that they have many different physical and chemical properties. In general they have many differences in strength, tolerance and mechanical function.
Hot-dip galvanized square tube: It is a square tube welded by steel plate or steel strip after bending, and the square tube is placed in the hot-dip galvanizing bath after a series of chemical reactions. a square tube. The production process of hot-dip galvanized square tubes is relatively simple, and the production power is very high, and there are many types of standards. The equipment and funds required for such square tubes are few and suitable for the production of small galvanized square tube manufacturers. However, the strength of this steel pipe is far lower than that of the seamless square tube.
The cold-galvanized square tube uses the principle of cold-galvanizing on the square tube used to make the square tube have anti-corrosion function. Different from hot-dip galvanizing, cold-galvanized coatings are firstly subjected to electrochemical principles for corrosion protection. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure sufficient contact between zinc powder and steel, and electrode potential difference occurs, so the appearance of steel is very important.
Hot and cold galvanizing difference
Galvanized square tubes are available in two categories: hot-dip galvanized square tubes and galvanized square tubes. The hot-dip galvanized square tube has a wet method, a dry method, a lead-zinc method, a redox method, and the like. The main difference between different hot-dip galvanizing methods is to improve the galvanizing quality of the external surface of the pipe after acid pipe leaching. The dry method and redox method are the primary choices in production. The characteristics are shown in the table. The zinc-plated zinc layer has a very smooth and fine appearance and uniform structure; it has outstanding mechanical functions and corrosion resistance; zinc consumption is 60% to 75% lower than that of hot-dip galvanizing. Electro-galvanizing has certain technical complexity, but it must be selected for single-sided coatings, double-sided coatings with different internal and external coating thicknesses, and thin-walled tubes for galvanizing.
