Editor: Good morning, could you have a basic introduction of SSAW steel pipe for us?
Manufacturer: Good morning. Okay. First of all, according to the name of it, we know that this kind of spiral submerged- Arc Welded Steel Pipe's process. With different standard, grade, we would apply them i different situation. For example, BS 4360, with Grade 43, Grade 50, out diameter 19-3600mm, WT 3.2-25.4mm and length 0.3-75m, we would like to use them in gas, heating, water supply, and electricity (thermal power and Hydropower Station), chemical industry, sewage treatment, water conservancy, sidewall casing, piling structure, bridge,the construction of the coast, and steel structure.
Editor: What should you pay high attention to during the whole production process?
Manufacturer: Due to SSAW steel pipe’s forming technology development with production practice, we should figure out the difference between forming stability and former design from process side, thus we would get the high quality product. For example, hot cracks commonly occurred in inside weld as the forming process of SSAW pipe. What should we do to decrease this kind of cracks? This is the thing manufacturer thinking.
