What types of oil pipelines are there
Update:2022-04-20 View(s):705 Keywords :What types of oil pipelines are there
There are two types of
oil pipelines: crude
oil pipelines and refined
oil pipelines. Different oil products are conveyed, and the conveying process is also different. Crude oil is generally relatively heavy, viscous, and easy to solidify; and refined oil is divided into gasoline, kerosene, diesel and fuel oil, and liquefied petroleum gas. For lightly refined oil and crude oil with relatively low freezing point and viscosity, the isothermal transportation method is generally adopted, that is, the oil from the refinery or the oil extracted from the oil field is directly transported into the pipeline without heating. For high-viscosity oils that are easy to solidify, methods such as heating and dilution should be used to transport them. For various oil products of refined oil, the process of sequential transportation is adopted.
